Немцы просто взрывали КАЖДЫЙ дом в городе. Подряд. Представляете себе кучки кирпичей до горизонта?
А миллионную столицу европейского государства — где осталось несколько сот жителей?
Мне ОЧЕНЬ жаль старую Варшаву. Мне БЕЗУМНО жаль ее погибших жителей. Я очень связан с легендой о безумном и героическом порыве целого города.
Даже в машине у меня лежит вот такая листовка из музея восстания:
Но я помню и другое… Просто какой-то потусторонней жутью веет — когда вспоминаешь, что всего пару лет до этих руин — жители блистательной Варшавы радостно смотрели на другие руины.
Много лет потом «материалом, полученным в результате сноса «русских церквей»» пользовались при строительстве Варшавы. Менее ценные обломки пошли на укрепление берегов Вислы. А ценные граниты пошли на пьедесталы разным памятникам, строительство мостов и другие городские нужды. Например, некоторые городские лавочки (przy Trasie W-Z) были сделаны из ценного гранита, полученного при разрушении собора.
Каменное надгробие Ю. Пилсудского в краковском Вавэле частично выполнено из наиболее ценных материалов, взятых из разрушенного православного собора. Мосты, ступени костёлов и даже просто дома (Kamienice przy Nowym Świecie) везде пригодились остатки собора. Даже знаменитая варшавская русалочка сидела на каменном блоке из собора Александра-Невского…
Были снесены величественные соборы и маленькие церквушки. Выпускали даже специальные “боны, доступные для каждого”, “обеспеченные стоимостью материала, полученного в результате сноса” собора, дабы “каждый поляк мог стать причастным к этому делу”.
Рассматриваешь фотографии радостного сноса всех варшавских церквей — и невольно вспоминаешь, что спустя 20 лет — все люди на фотографиях страшно погибнут.
И все знания в округе будут лежать такими же кучками щебня…
Что бы понимать масштабы в начале ХХ века в царской Варшаве насчитывалось приблизительно 49 православных церквей.
К 1930-м годам в польской столице уцелели ДВЕ !!!
В 1920-е гг. в Варшаве были уничтожены: три собора; три приходские, две дворцовые, две крестовые архиерейские, две кладбищенские церкви, в том числе на уничтоженном впоследствии военно-гарнизонном кладбище в Повонзках, четыре при учебных и шесть при благотворительных и лечебных учреждениях, две тюремные церкви и более 20 военных церквей…
Сегодня нигде нет даже подробного перечня всех разрушенных варшавских церквей. Ни то что фотографий. Никому это понятно не надо.
Если даже самим русским этого не надо (попробуйте найти в интернете список и фотографии разрушенных храмов) — то мне тем более не надо…
Просто почему-то мне вспомнились эти церкви — когда я смотрел на страшные снимки Варшавы 1945 года…
Я не верю ни в какую мистику. Просто зацепилось одно — за другое.
А памятники и храмы — разрушать это ИМХО все-таки ОЧЕНЬ плохой знак…
