Цензуре на Первом канале подвергся американский сериал «Фарго», который я буду смотреть в другом переводе, но только не в переводе «Первого канала», который всегда отличается паршивым исполнением. А теперь еще и цензурой. Перевод «Фарго» для Первого канала выполняла московская студия «Эй Би Видео». Не знаю, студия ли удружила Первому каналу. Или сам Эрнст принял такое решение…
Первый канал при переводе третьего сезона американского сериала «Фарго» убрал из реплик персонажей упоминания России и президента Владимира Путина. В эфир вышли четыре эпизода сезона из десяти. Россия и Путин упоминаются только в двух из них: втором и четвертом.
Во второй серии (метка 45:45) реплика о достоинствах авторитарного метода управления страной выглядит так:

Зачем нужно было частично вырезать упоминания Путина? По-моему, это просто глупо. Россияне и так практически единодушно поддерживают своего президента и отлично понимают, что реплики персонажей американского сериала мало соотносятся с реальной действительностью. Но телевизионное начальство всех считает идиотами. В сети около 5 разнообразных переводов сериала от независимых студий. Их и надо качать и смотреть.
