Когда-то наша страна СССР была самой грамотной страной на Планете. Вы вдумайтесь! Самой грамотной! А ведь нас было не 1000 человек, не 1 000 000. Нас было СССР, 1/6 часть суши.
Мы учились в школе. Да. С жесткой дисциплиной и многими недочетами. Но это была реальная школа обучения общим знаниям. Все наши дети разбирались в физике, химии, умели хорошо считать, грамотно писали, и много читали. Чтение — было наиболее любимым занятием практически всех детей — от хулигана до гения.
Конечно, не все покидали школьную скамью в полной грамотности. Они выходили в жизнь, устраивались работать простыми продавцами в магазин, дворниками, водителями. Но, никогда к нам в жизнь их частичная неграмотность не заглядывала. Все было правильно вокруг нас. Были группы контроля за вывесками в городе, цензура и корректоры в газетах. А куда это все ушло?
Неграмотные люди заняли нашу жизнь и уволили всех грамотных корректоров. Как-то проезжая по ул. Сретенка, что в самом центре Москвы, и увидела новый ресторан с названием, которое я читала и не могла прочесть. Вернее, не могла поверить, что такое можно сотворить. Огромными светящимися витиеватыми буквами зелены светом светилось на всю улицу над входом «Зеленая будда». Понадобилось месяц, чтобы видимо, какой-то грамотей подсказал владельцу ресторана, что это вопиющая ошибка. Что такое неграмотное название будет только отгонять денежную публику.
Посмотрите и посмейтесь. Ведь это наша с вами жизнь. Мы будем смеяться над собой. Все это окружает нас с вами. Все это — наша жизнь. Как пишем, — так и живем. Любой неправильный звук, выпущенный в пространство, искажает нашу с вами жизнь.
